But it would be grand to see an email blast or social-media post promoting a summertime event like no other.
I think maintaining a respectable business-networking dance card all year long is a challenge. Temptation becomes expectation as the nights get longer (and your kids, off from school, get bolder): the beach, the mountains, the lake, the road, the trip. Summer seems the right time to take a break from all that (firm!) handshaking and (sincere!) introduction-making at networking events, doesn’t it? Registration for these events begin at 9:15 a.m. To promote the work of Bingo attendees, we encourage you to bring any fliers or literature you have, to display on a dedicated table and share with others.

To fill your Bingo card's FREE SPACE, you'll chat with a staff member of the Long Island Health Collaborative, and get a free prize while you're at it! After GameĪfter the final Bingo call, all participants will receive a contact list with attendees' information to allow for follow-up and even more connections.

The Long Island Health Collaborative will be raffling off prizes for Bingo attendees who complete a Full House, marking of every spot on their Bingo Card. We've invited non-LIHC members to the event to expand the Collaborative's reach and to create new opportunities to work together with Nassau County CBOs.
What else is going on? New faces, new connections That's how you'll be entered for gift cards, prizes, and get updates from the Long Island Health Collaborative in the future. Get at least five other event attendees to initial boxes for services they provide, and you can drop your business card in the Bingo Box. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to find someone else in the room who represents an organization providing that service, or addressing that SDOH. You'll get a standard-looking bingo card, but instead of numbers and letters, there will be 25 boxes listing off healthcare services and social determinants of health. We’ll bring the bingo cards, you bring your business cards. Identify the population-serving players that can help you help Long Islanders, enjoy a business-like event with a little fun thrown in. In a game of real-life Bingo, find out what you don’t know. Discover what services are offered in your own backyard by filling up your bingo card. Join members of the Long Island Health Collaborative along with other health professionals in your county for networking with a twist! Community-based healthcare needs the whole community.
